Playgrounds in the Stow Area

• Boxborough Playground Stow Road

  Take Boxboro Road in Stow past the Minuteman Airport into Boxborough. Boxboro Road turns into Stow Road when you enter Boxborough. Approximately one mile from the airport, you will reach a stop sign. Turn right at the stop sign. The playground is on the right at the "Boxborough Conservation Land" sign. Follow the dirt road which goes back through the field to the playground in the back. You can barely see the playground from Stow Road.

• Fairbanks Community Center Playground

  40 Fairbank Road, Sudbury

• Goward Playground, Woodbury Street Acton

  Take Route 27 to Acton. Woodbury Street is a left turn just about in front of the monument. The playground is behind the Acton Town Hall/Library.

• Haskell Tot Lot Playground

  Rte 20, Sudbury, next to Shaws and CVS stores

• Jones Field

  Martin St., Acton. From Stow either take S. Acton Road (which turns into Stow St in Acton) or take Red Acre Road (which turns into Liberty St in Acton). Both drop you in front of the Jones field on Martin St.

  Sudbury Rd, by soccer field, Stow

• Sawyer School Playground

  Off Route 117 Bolton:From Stow, follow Route 117 West into Bolton. Just before the yellow blinking light, you'll see the sign for Emerson School and Sawyer School on your left at the driveway. Head down the driveway and go past the Emerson School and continue down the driveway until you see Sawyer School. The playground is behind Sawyer School.

• Wood Park

  Park St., Hudson: From rotary in center of Hudson take Rt. 85S and bear right onto Park St. (right after hardware store/McDonalds). Wood Park is 1/4 mile up on right.
